Ventilation For The Indoor Refer Crop
Ventilation is important for the indoor refer crop for several reasons, refer has a distinct odor that needs to be taken out of the room so it does not attract the wrong type of attention. Ventilation is also important since the lights can make the room extremely warm and that is not good for the plants, because they breathe through their leaves. Plants that do not have ventilation for the pores on the leaves could become clogged and if this happens the plant can die. The reason that they could die is because they excrete any poison through the pores in their leaves.
There are several ways that a growing room can be ventilated, depending on the size of the room a fan could be used or an air conditioner and if the growing room is a closet merely opening and closing the door may be enough ventilation.
Some people that plant refer and have a room that is dedicated to their crop growing install and exhaust fan, like the kind that would be found in a bathroom. This alleviates any heat in the room and it also alleviates any odor.
Reefer plants that are grown in a poorly ventilated room will grow to maturity in most cases, but will need other care as the stalks will be thin, often not capable of holding the plants weight up and will need to be staked up. The only benefits of the plants that do not have ventilation and grow to maturity often contain more resin, because the plant is not using its energy in growing the stalk. |
