Containers and Room Needed For Transplanting Your Cannabis Plants
If you have taken up the hobby of growing your own pot and you have found the need to transplant a few of your plants, there are a few things you will want to take note of. You will need to take great care in handling your plants very gently throughout this process or you could throw them into shock. Although it is ok to transplant them twice in one growth cycle, it is best to stick with just once. There are a variety of different containers that you can use to transplant your marijuana plants into. Empty one-gallon milk jugs or empty gallon jugs of water work quite nicely. Some people would rather use large containers that are square in shape, and then there are still others who find it convenient to use a 2 liter bottle that soda came in to cut down and use for potting. If you choose to use the gallon jugs, you will want to cut them down to the approximate size of ¾ gallon. The 2-liter bottle can be cut down to the same height you would use with cutting a gallon jug. The reason that most weed growers would rather choose to use the larger sized containers is it is less likely that you will end up needed to transplant yet again into another container later on, which could ultimately end up meaning the loss of the plants. So, if you have plenty of room for growing your pot, go even one better and use a 5 gallon bucket. |
