Planting the Ganja Seed Outdoors
Planting a ganja crop after the site has been selected and the soil has been prepared means planting the seeds. The seeds usually are not planted directly in the soil, in most cases the person that is going to plant an outdoor crop will germinate the seeds in the house and even wait to transplant the seedlings when they are ready to be transplanted from the six inch pot.
Planting directly into the soil is not done for several reasons; the first is if it is an area where it is a short growing season the plants might not have enough time to mature. The second reason is that bugs and other pests threaten young seedlings of any kind. The other reasons are weather, nutrition and disease. The soil can hold disease that can kill a young seedling and an older plant will be able to fight this off without destroying the plants health.
Young seedlings in order to have the strength to grow to maturity need the proper nutrition and planting the seeds in the house there is the advantage of planting healthy plants outside when the time is right.
Weather can also be a problem for the young seedling; a cool night or drought can kill a young seedling where an older plant is able to withstand weather related problems better. They are stronger and have more of a chance of growing to provide the person crowing the crop with a large harvest when the seeds are planted when a little older than direct planting.
