Pot Needs Light
Growing pot one of the requirements will be light for the plants to simulate sunlight, this means having the lights on many hours a day. The plants would not grow to full maturity if they did not have the proper light and to ensure the lighting give the plants the right amount that they need it requires special lighting, not the average light bulb. This is because the usual household light bulb is not able to throw the correct amount of light for growing.
The lighting that can be used comes in several different types and each has a different benefit for the plants, there is florescent lighting, incandescent spot lights, Gro-Lux Lights, halogen lights, metal halide and high pressure sodium lights.
There are times during growth that the lights will be left on from 14 to 24 hours a day to have pot plants that provide a good harvest. One thing the person growing to in the house should expect is that their electric bill will be higher, because each of these plants needs light. That means if a person is growing a crop instead of just a few plants they are going to need a light setup with more than one light.
The lighting is also going to need to be installed so that it can be raised and lowered at the need of the plants. As they grow the lighting will need to be higher when they are seedlings than when they are maturing.
