Equipment Needed For The Hydroponics Crop

Growing a crop of marijuana there is certain equipment needed to grow the plants using hydroponics. An aquarium pump will be needed, rubber tubing and tubs or troughs that will be used underneath the plants to hold water that is treated with plant food or fertilizer.

Timers will also be needed; these can be purchased in home improvement stores and art inexpensive, as their use is mainly for people going on vacation. These are small timers that fit into the electrical outlet and can be programmed to easily to turn on and off at certain times of the day.

Other things that will be needed are items that are used for both the hydroponics crop of marijuana or the crop is planted in soil. This will include lighting which will need to be either one of the three main lights are used for marijuana crops, fluorescent lighting, metal halide, or sodium lighting. There will also need to be plant fertilizer or food, a ventilation system and the walls will need to be prepared.

The items that are needed once purchased will be able to be used to grow crop after crop for many years of the cannabis plants in the house. The difference is with a hydroponics crop of marijuana plants there will only be in a minimum amount of care needed, which can save a lot of time on the person growing the plants. Soil crops that are planted in the house require a lot of the persons time in watering feeding and maintaining the plants, this is not necessary with hydroponics. The lighting and watering the ventilation and even heating can all be placed on timers so that there is a daily routine without the plants needing human contact for their care.
