Humidity Helpful Or Not With Hydroponics
When growing ganja using hydroponics humidity can be a large concern, this is growing without any soil, using only a solution of water and plant food. When the lighting and water mix this can cause a large amount of humidity and that is not good for the growing ganja plants.
In order to avoid humidity problems the room will need to be tested occasionally for the amount of humidity. If the room is too humid there are ways to change this, the use of a fan can sometimes make this problem go away. When a fan is not enough then using a dehumidifier is another way to go that can take care of the problem and be set at different settings to make the room hold the right amount of humidity.
If the room is too dry on the other hand then a humidifier can be put in the room to add humidity to the air in the room. Although this is not usually a concern with ganja plants that are being grown using hydroponics, it is usually reserved for the indoor soil crop.
For ganja hydroponics plants to be healthy they will need to be kept in a room where the humidity is between 40 and 60 percent, with the optimum humidity level being below 50 percent.
The dehumidifier if needing to be used will have a bucket that fills with water that will need to be emptied, this is the excess water that is being pulled from the air.
