Planting The Marijuana Crop On The Floor
There are some serious marijuana growers that dedicate an entire room for growing their crops, and then they build boxes on the floor where they plant their crops. This makes it easier for planting, watering, lighting and caring for the plants. In some rooms a drain is also installed to allow excess water to drain from the floor and basements are often a perfect area for this type of crop.
The boxes may have bottoms on them or they might have pots in them that allow the plants to grow to a taller height while maturing. They can also use a post at each end of the row to attach a secure wire for staking any plants up that need their stems supported.
Supporting the stems in house crops is often needed and with the floor crop it is done easily. It is also easy to do any maintenance care on the plants as they mature, including misting the leaves so the pores in them do not clog.
Lighting these plants can be done by hanging the lights on wires that have the capability of being raised and lowered as the plants grow and need different amounts of direct light.
This type of planting is only possible if there is a room that is dedicated only for the marijuana crop and nothing else. This is because these type of planting boxes can not be moved around the growing room once they have been set up and the crop planted.
